More than 800 sheep representing up to 16 diverse breeds are showcased by approximately 100 exhibitors, making it the largest sheep competition in New South Wales across two days.
A Young Judges & Handling Competition occurs Sunday morning, attracting over one hundred young participants who evaluate and handle Merino and Meat Breed sheep. This competition adheres to Agricultural Societies Council regulations, with winners qualifying for Zone, State, and Federal finals. Accredited and seasoned stud sheep judges and breeders serve as overjudges for the event.
