YOUNG FARMERS CHALLENGE

Saturday afternoon of the show, 5pm on the grassed area next to Cattle Pavilion.

The aim is to complete all challenges in the safest manner & fastest time. The competition involves a number of rural based challenges such as:

  • Swag Rolling

  • Fencing

  • Carting Hay

  • Fire Fighting

  • Animal Handling

  • First Aid & WHS

Must include teams of both male & female competitors. A fun, entertaining event for competitors & spectators to enjoy.

Entry Fee: $30 per team

Entries Close: Thursday 9th May 2024 (or when full)

YOUNG FARMERS CHALLENGE: (Open to teams of (3) people aged 18 - 35 years)
Senior Prize Money: 1st $300, 2nd $200, 3rd $100

JUNIOR YOUNG FARMERS CHALLENGE: (Open to teams of (3) people aged 14 & under 17 years)
Junior Prize Money: 1st $150, 2nd $90, 3rd $60
