HORSE SECTION

The horse section attracts a large number of both local competitors and competitors from the broader community. As Dubbo Show falls within a number of shows being held in the local area, we have competitors coming from as far as Victoria to the Sydney area. The first day of competition sees our local horse riding enthusiasts taking to the main arena competing for ribbons. The second day of competition sees our more serious show horse competitors stepping out with their beautiful show horses. Competition is strong on this day and our Judges always have a tough job deciding on their winners. The third day of competition sees the Australian Stock Horses both led and ridden. The rings also cater for other breeds of horses and ponies both led and ridden and once again with so many beautiful horses to choose from, the Judges have a hard time deciding.
Entries Close: 15 minutes prior to each class, entry forms to completed on arrival including Health Declarations and waiver.
Entry Fee:
$3.50 per event per horse or rider on Local Day.
Open Day & Breed Day entry is $3.00.
Pony Club entry is $3.00 - No prizemoney given for Pony Club events.
No half entry to Members in the Horse Section.
All entry fees & prize money includes GST.
All competitors must fill in GST Exhibitors & Competitors Declaration & DPI Record of Attendance at Horse Events.
PIC numbers must be provided.
